Done and done!

Alright, after reading Meagan's comment and talking with friend whose first words about the situation were "Oh my gosh, are you sure you didn't get scammed," I put a stop payment on the checks (yes, I had to write two checks for the two different magazines) and I'm calling the company tomorrow to officially cancel the subscriptions. You'd have thought I would have learned my lesson after the whole car warranty ordeal last spring, but apparently not!
